    Personal life[edit]

    Mounika and Balu Mahendra shared a relationship that goes beyond professional limits. They were living together for a long period of time and Balu Mahendra himself has confirmed his relationship with Mounika in many of his interviews and also in his blog.[3][4]They married in 1998 but went public about their marriage only in 2004.

    Film career[edit]

    Mounika was introduced by Balu Mahendra in the film Un Kannil Neer Vazhindal that released in 1985.[3]
