Nishant (born 1 September 1987 in Dubai, UAE) is an Indian model and actor.

Career[edit]

Nishant completed his schooling from Laxman Public School, New Delhi in 2005 after which he graduated in Economics Hons. from Shaheed Bhagat Singh college, Delhi University.
Nishant was offered a lead role in a Bengali film, under Shankar Roy's direction, however his studies prevented him from taking up the part.[1] He made his debut on small screen in Miley Jab Hum Tum as Adhiraj. He also starred in Sasural Genda Phool. He played the lead in Ram Milaye Jodi, as Anukalp Gandhi.
He made his cinematic debut in Vikram Bhatt's Horror Story .[2] The film revolved around a night in which seven friends stay at a haunted hotel, and the murders that take place. Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama stated that Nishant "gets his role spot on".
He is also playing the romantic lead in ‘Ishq ne Crazy kiya re’ set against the power politics of a singing based reality show. He is also doing a feel good film of the Sooraj Barjatya types - “Bezubaan Ishq” as well as playing the engagingly effervescent raunchy Bhopali in ‘Single Chal riya hu'. At the same time, he has completed 'Filmistaan' producers Satellite Pictures pvt Ltd.'s next called 'Love Training' where he plays 'Rahul', a love guru to Shakti Kapoor,Rajpal Yadav, and Akhilendra Mishra. He's also signed Sagar Bellary’s rom-com. Right now the plate is full for this 27 something lad who steered his way into this industry and into the hearts of the audiences.[3][4] He has finished filming for "Bezubaan Ishq" and a comedy titled Single Chal Riya Hoon, under Sai Kabir's direction, where he will feature as Bunty, a Bhopali man who runs to Mumbai to pursue his dreams.[5]

Biography
Nishant Malkani  is an Indian model and actor, born to a Sindhi Indian father, Deepak A Malkani. Malkani also has a sibling Lakshay Malkani. His parents and brother currently live in New Delhi.

He came to Kolkata to study Business Management but instead got into modelling. While traveling in a metro, a modelling co-ordinator spotted him and persuaded him to enter the world of modelling. Malkani got his portfolio done and after that was soon part of the modelling industry. He quickly became a popular face in the Kolkata's modelling network, and was seen in commercials, ads and on the ramp.

He made his debut on small screen in Miley Jab Hum Tum as Adhiraj. He also starred in Sasural Genda Phool. He played the main lead in Ram Milaye Jodi, as Anukalp Gandhi.
