Rati Pandey is an Indian television actress mainly recognized for the lead role in the daily soap Hitler Didi. She gained tremendous popularity for the role of Indira Sharma. Her first breakthrough was the role of Nupur Bhushan, a young bubbly, chirpy character in the Star One's college romance show Miley Jab Hum Tum in 2008. She was last seen in Zee TV's Hitler Didi.

Biography

Rati was born on September 11, 1982 in Assam. She has completed her primary schooling from Assam and then moved to Patna where she studied in St. Karen's High School. She did further schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sadiq Nagar, New Delhi. She has studied commerce specialised in Economics from Miranda House, Delhi University. She was also a good athlete, a javelin thrower. Rati is a perfect epitome of a linguist as she knows more than eight languages. Music was a passion for her which led her to participate in a Zee TV's singing reality show Idea Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj, 2006 judged by Adnan Sami which was her first appearance on Television.

Rati Pandey has recently denied the news of her making an entry in the popular daily soap Diya Aur Baati Hum. She said, "I suddenly read the news as it is all over websites and televisions. I don't know what is going on. I was not approached for any role in Diya Aur Baati Hum." It was earlier reported that the actress will enter the show as new love interest of the male lead Sooraj Rathi (played by Anas Rashid).

If rumours are to be believed, then Rati Pandey is dating Anas Rashid aka Suraj of Diya Aur Baati Hum. They will soon go public about their relationship. Rati and Arjun bijlani were the co-stars from the serial "Miley jab hum tum" which aired on star one. It was a youth-oriented tv serial which represented the story about falling in love during college days and making relations for a lifetime. She has played the role of "Nupur Bhushan Sharma" and Arjun bijlani as "Mayank Sharma".

Rati and Anas Rashid

Rati and Anas rashid both have done a film named "Bappi da Tussi Great Ho" with co-stars Bappi Lahiri, Rajat Tokas, Amar Upadhyay and Indrani Haldar. This film was directed by Siddharth Suryavanshi and producer of the film is Vilas Rao Tayade.

I have already shopped at my dream shopping destination which is Dubai. I would like to tour Italy and buy some handmade craft. Also, I would love to explore the markets in UK as the brands come to India only after a period of 4 to 5 years of trending there.

I prefer shopping in Palladium but if there I have to buy something very urgently, I go to Infinity Mall.

How Rati is in real life : I am very friendly and bubbly sort of person. I am very possessive about friendship. I don't like making friends just for Time pass, Enjoyment and Mauj-masti.
