Biography: Deane Sequeira is a rising star in the world of Hip-Hop and RnB and she is India’s youngest RnB female rapper. She was born on the 28th of September in the year 1996 in the city of Mumbai to a Goan-Catholic family. Presently she is pursuing her education from St. Andrew’s College in Bandra West and she will be appearing for her HSC boards this year.
 She drew her inspiration from her own father who was a hotelier, artiste manager, musician and producer and he had travelled thw world with some of the eminent personalities belonging to the Indian music industry. Deane had also developed a passion for music seeing her idols on screen such as Justin Beiber, Eminem, Akon, Florida, Pitbul, Nicki Minaj and B.O.B.
At the ripe age of 14 years, Deane recorded a song called “Random” which was her very first Hip Hop rap composition. She had even written the rap, the lyrics and everything else required in the complete creation of a song. When she was 15, Deane wrote and sang the rap for the song “Bezubaan” along with Priya Panchal and Mohit Chauhan for Remo D’Souza’s ‘ABCD’ (Anybody Can Dance) starring Salman Yusuff Khan, DharmeshYelande, Punit Pathak, Kay KayMenon, Prabhu Deva, Lauren Gottlieb and Ganesh Acharya. He had even worked in the song “Chaka Laga” belonging to IPL-AAPL cricket as well as in Joe Ranjan’s film ‘Luv U Soniyo’.
She is a signed artiste with Hungama Artist Aloud and she had written, rapped, sung both “Only Mine” and “Random”, both of which have been produced globally by 5th String Inc and released by iTunes, Hungama and other digital platforms. She got an overwhelming response from the audience at a Hungama Artist Aloud live webcert during Seagram’s Fuel Artist Aloud Music day (2012). All of her raps in “Bezubaan”, “Luv U Soniyo” and “Chaka Laga” became so popular that Deane was labelled as India’s Rap Princess. She is also the youngest Indian female rapper to feature on Akon’s website called www.hitlab.com and she currently tops the charts with a dynamic hit score of 97.3% for her debut hiphop single “Random”. And this very single, in three weeks of its release it rose to No.5 on the chart of Riverbnation, an independent artiste music company.
Deane has worked along with famous Bollywood music directors like VipinPatwa, Meet Bros-Anjan, Arya Acharya, ToshiSabri, Sachin-Jigar, Pritam and several others and this year she has a lot of song projects lined up.
At a young age Deane has already featured on some of the top newspapers, radio channels and music magazines.
