Today is the Birthday of late Vivek Shauq, who was an impressive actor, writer, singer and comedian in various languages. He was also popularly called as best singer and writer. He was born on 21 June 1963 in Chandigarh, his father died in 1980 and mother in late 80's. He pursued his education from the Indo Swiss Training Centre (ISTC). Coming to his career, he had acted in Punjabi and Hindi films, theatre, television and television commercials. Vivek was even fluent in Urdu language and he was also involved with the Sant Nirankari Mission. Remarkably, he was also one of the founding members of Nonsense Club and then he died of a heart attack on 10 January 2011 in Mumbai. He spent his beautiful 47 years entertaining the public. He made his wife and three children to be proud that he served the people and grabbed a great position in every one's heart. His horoscope matching will be best fit with a Libran.
Vivek Shauq was born under Gemini astrology signs and he was known as a generous, sensitive and intelligent person who follows his dreams. He was qualified as a mechanical engineer but, because of passion for acting he shifted his career to Acting. He had very good communication skills, confident and known for putting his view in a proper way and gradually, he developed an interest in acting also. Shauq started his acting career in theatre and television and then he starred in Ulta Pulta and Flop Show on Doordarshan, alongside Jaspal Bhatti. He moved further focusing to Punjabi films and Hindi films and his first Hindi film was Barsaat Ki Raat, which was held in 1998. He was well notified in Gadar, Ek prem Katha.
He's quite good number of films were the prominent ones which include Aitraaz, Delhi Heights, 36 China Town, Asa Nu Maan Watna Da, Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye, Dil Hai Tumhaara, Nalaik and Mini Punjab respectively. He had worked with Jaspal Bhatti and was greatly influenced by him, who considered him as his Right hand man. Vivek Shauq's was sadly accidental death, he suffered a heart attack on 3 January and was admitted to Jupiter Hospital in Thane. He was on life support but slipped into a coma and could not be revived. On Monday, 10 January 2011 Shauq died from septicemia. His funeral was held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 4pm at the Sant Nirankari Mission. Linda Arsenio celebrated his birthday on 20th june.Tuesday, January 11, 2011
Actor Vivek Shauq dies
The film industry lost a very good character artist in the form of Vivek Shauq who breathed his last today. The actor was a prominent face in a lot of Punjabi films but also had done work in a lot of Bollywood films as a support actor.
He has films like 'Gadar Ek Prem Katha', 'Aitraaz' and '36 China Town' where his comic timing earned him a lot of accolades to his credit.
The death was rather untimely as he was just 47 and suffered a heart attack on Jan 3 after which he was taken to Sant Nirankari Mission where he breathed his last today.
He has worked with a lot of top bollywood actors like Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Akshaye Khanna and Shahid Kapoor. His acts with Jaspal Bhatti in Ulta Pulta TV show were very famous in the north region.
He slipped into coma after a minor operation and could never attain conscious again. His sense of humor was amazing and had a lot of fans in the industry; he was also one of the founder members of Nonsense Club.
